Brooke & Chris came down to OKC from Stillwater for their engagement session.
It was a windy, cold, and foggy day and the lighthouse was such a vibe for Brooke & Chris’ engagement session! Brooke seriously toughed it out and wore a cute short floral dress. It just so happened to have their wedding colors and Chris matched her with a burgundy shirt. After the light house, I had them change and they got into some warmer outfits. We took the second portion of the photos in a field at Lake Hefner and the foilage was just starting to turn colors for the new season.
Not only was its cold, but it was also extremely windy and they still had the biggest smiles on their faces. I did lots of cuddly prompts to have them keep each other warm. We got all the good views before changing into their warmer clothes and heading into the field. I’m always down to tough out any weather as long as my clients are down!
Since it wasn’t an ideal day to be out we had the whole spot to ourselves. They didn’t have to stay out there for very long, I got a variety of poses pretty quickly and we moved on to the next!
We had high hopes for the hat, it was so cute! However, the wind was not letting us have this one! She wore it for the first few photos and took it off for the rest!
I suggest you take a chance on the light house and Lake Hefner all together when considering where to have your engagement photos taken! There is so much field space and really shows out when the seasons change.
