There’s something incredibly special about intimate wedding days—the slower pace, the intentional moments, and the way every detail feels deeply personal. This intimate Oklahoma City Wedding at the Oklahoma State Capitol was the perfect example of that.

The day began at the Oklahoma State Capitol, where the couple exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family and friends. The Capitol is such a meaningful and beautiful place to say “I do,” with its stunning architecture, intricate artwork, and timeless elegance. After the ceremony, we spent time capturing portraits both inside and outside the building, taking full advantage of the natural light, grand staircases, and classic details that make the Capitol so iconic.

After portraits, we made our way to the First National Hotel where the couple hosted an intimate reception. Even though the guest list was small, the space was beautifully styled with florals and thoughtful decor, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere.

One of the most special details of the day was the cake—actually, three cakes. The bride made them herself, which added such a heartfelt, personal touch to the reception. Guests enjoyed listening to speeches, sharing a meal together, and celebrating in a way that felt relaxed yet meaningful.

The evening included a sweet dance between the bride and her dad, which perfectly wrapped up the celebration. It truly felt like a full wedding day, just on a more intimate scale—proof that smaller weddings can still be just as joyful, emotional, and beautiful.

This Oklahoma City intimate wedding was a reminder that it’s not about the size of the guest list, but the love, intention, and connection shared throughout the day.
